Congratulations on embarking on an engineering adventure! We are excited to see the creative and useful ideas you will share at our Invention Convention. This is a big, but rewarding project that we hope will be a great challenge for you, but most importantly, a FUN adventure for your mind! Inventors need to be creative hard workers who don’t give up when a problem arises. We know you are up to the challenge!
Consider Thomas Edison, inventor of the light bulb. Edison actually went through over ten thousand prototypes before getting his design right! He became famous for saying “I have not failed 10,000 times. I have not failed once. I have succeeded in proving that those 10,000 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work.” We can learn from our failures as much as our successes, so whatever happens on your invention journey, DON’T GIVE UP!
Good Luck!
